how can breathe support you?
‘Breathwork’ as a term is a bit like ‘fitness training’. There are different types of ‘fitness training’ that work in different ways with different objectives or outcomes.
My training and areas of interest have led me to teach Breathwork for 4 purposes or objectives:
'every-day' breathing:
‘in the moment’ tools: quick, accessible techniques available to everyone at anytime that are research-proven to be effective and easy to apply.

'functional' breathing:
the underlying ways we can improve our breathing to bring general long-term health benefits, including better sleep, better cardiovascular
health, better
resilience to illness
and improved
capacity for relaxation.

'therapeutic' breathing:
using specific techniques and protocols that have proven to be beneficial in accessing, treating and releasing deeper anxieties, stresses,
and extending
to work with
trauma and PTSD.

'performance' breathing:
improving the ways our breathing fuels and sustains our bodies when we are being active,
from walking
to sporting performance.

"The way we breathe is a tool that is available to us about 1,000 times every hour.
My mission is to teach simple,
research-supported, accessible,
non-disruptive ways that we can use our breath to achieve immediate and long-term real-life improvements.
I only teach breath-work techniques that I personally use and find helpful on a regular (often daily) basis, and feel privileged to help others experience the same benefits that I do."
